Elusive LA duo Rhye now have a video for their satisfyingly melancholic track “The Fall”. I guess it’s supposed to be all about how much adulthood sucks and the loss of youth, but rather than following some loser buying fifty Ferraris during a mid-life crisis, the end result is pretty touching. We follow this middle-aged guy around as he regresses back to all the things social construct and uptight people say you should stop doing past 40. Like, dancing as if you’re on uppers, erm, sitting in a bath fully clothed and crushing on teenage girls. Ahhh sweet youth!
“The Fall” is out on iTunes today.
