Toronto rap iconoclast Sean Leon has released a new trailer for his short film / “audio-visual trip” LIFE WHEN YOU’RE THE MOVIE. It’s an intense, solo performance that features the artist rapping near the Bad Boy furniture store in the alleyway of the late Honest Ed’s (very Toronto) along with other symbolic visuals. Like the rest of the film, the trailer features unreleased slappers from his upcoming Black Sheep Nirvana album trilogy, an ambitious project that’s been years in the making.
LIFE WHEN YOU’RE THE MOVIE will have its debut screening on January 23rd at Toronto’s Royal Cinema. You can (and should) nab tickets here. Experience the trailer below.
