Patrik Mathews, a former Canadian reservist and member of the neo-Nazi group The Base, pleaded guilty to several firearms charges today.
Secret recordings show Patrik Mathews snuck into the U.S. and hid for months, during which time he wanted members of the Base to take advantage of all he had to offer.
A sailor connected to Iron March who once posted that neo-Nazis should join the Armed Forces to get training for a “race war” has been reinstated by the Canadian Navy. The sailor says he has since seen the error of his ways.
The arrests came just as authorities expressed worry about a pro-gun rally in Virginia turning violent.
The arrests include a former Canadian soldier, who was smuggled into the U.S. to train the group.
Patrik Mathews, an ex-soldier from Canada that disappeared in August, allegedly illegally entered the U.S. with the help of The Base and is now in hiding.
Police in Minnesota warn that Patrik Mathews may be in the state, which is believed to have an active cell of The Base, the terror group he is alleged to be a part of.
