TODAY ON VBS

Today we’re proud to present a new episode of Soft Focus featuring perhaps our most special guest yet: Chan Marshall a.k.a. Cat Power. Ian and Chan have a lot to talk about and they do it in a ridiculously sweet ‘n’ smart way. Please take a look. We also start a new VBS News series called Inside Sudan. Vice co-founder Shane Smith and Vice UK photographer Jamie-James Medina head directly into the terribly troubled country of Sudan and set about meeting people and talking to them. It’s an epic journey, and it begins now. That’s not the end of it. On Music World VBS correspondent Trace Crutchfield meets Mexican telenovela star and boy band svengali Ranferi in his Mexico City palace of kitsch. Ranferi lives with his group of supple boys in extreme opulence. They spend their time working out, preening, and getting underwear (male and female alike) tossed at them. We’re actually kind of envious of their life. The first piece of VBS Animation goes up today as well. It’s called Space War, and it’s pretty serious shit.
