Comanechi and Divorce Tour Diary

Hi everyone, I’m Akiko aka Exceedingly Good Keex, I’m in Comanechi and we are touring all over the UK with my best pal band Divorce from Glasgow. We’ve played 3 shows so far, and it’s been great, it’s good to tour and share a van with the band who I love.

The day one straight after I got in the van, I drank a bottle of JD to get in the mood.

The first show was in Brighton, The promoter Jon fed us his home made Jacket potatoes with 3 different fillings, baked beans, tuna & cheese. Jacket potatoes are my favorite British Cuisine. I was so happy. It was a lovely meal.

This is Esther and Simon Comanechi(the guitarist), Comanechi have
been doing RSPB charity for the last 4 years. The RSPB is the UK charity working to secure a healthy environment for birds and all wildlife, helping to create a better world for everyone

I asked Simon if we get any percentage of the money from the donation by helping doing this, He said,”No, that’s the whole point of charity Keex,”. Anyway, I think the charity we are doing for this robin bank are definitely making more money than us selling our merch.

We’ve been sleeping promoters house floors. All the promoters so far have been so cool and they have way nicer house than mine. It’s warm and clean.

Day 2, we played in Oxford. Oxford sell really boring jumpers.

Day 3, we played in Norwich, we got fed Dominos Pizza, the promoter had 50% off vouchers, The Big Pink don’t even get any discount from Dominos!!!!

The Show in Norwich was a sold out show, and was the best show so
far.

On the way the Norwich promoter’s house, I saw a surgery for mongos, I’ve got an emergency appointment.
