Dinah Washington’s 1954 love song “I’ve Got You Under My Skin” has undergone a wild skin graft courtesy of L.A. “festival trap” producer Carnage and his friend Victor Niglio. The self-proclaimed “Queen of Blues” is probably raving from beyond the grave to this wild rework of her romantic and bluesy hit… or maybe she’s a ghost hovering over EDC hitting some unsuspecting festie angel over the head with a phantom glowstick. Anyway, the duo uses seriously epic trance buildups and half-time beats to layer with the diva vocals and comes out with something that will really get the grinders out of the woodwork. Stream the remix below, one of 13 reworks (from Flume, Bassnectar, Kaskade, and more) out on Verve Remixed: The First Ladies on July 16.
