It’s week four of MoMA PS1’s Warm Up 2015, and things are showing no signs of slowing down. Wael Shawky’s first exhibit at an American museum is piquing the interest of audiences, as it tells the story of the Crusades from an Arab perspective.
This exhibit titled Cabaret Crusades showcases bizarre and beautiful ancient Italian glass puppets illustrate a narrative of forced control. You can see it for yourself this weekend at PS1 alongside a musical lineup of Boys Noize, Busy P b2b Boston Bun, A.G. Cooke, Danny L Harle, Lafawnduh, and Lotic.
