26-Year-Old Man Dies While Attending Creamfields Festival

A 26-year-old man passed away this weekend after collapsing in his campsite at Creamfields Festival. The cause of death has not yet been determined.

Last year’s edition of Creamfields saw 76 drug-related arrests with no fatalities. Six attendees were arrested for alleged possession of class A drugs on the first day of this year’s festival.

In a statement, Cheshire Police said, “Officers continue to take positive action against those who risk others’ lives by attempting to bring illegal drugs onto site.” Performers at this year’s festival include Martin Solveig, Armin Van Buuren, Maya Jane Coles, The Martinez Brothers, Martin Garrix, and Avicii in his last ever UK performance.
