Light Year Unites Chugging Beats With Cute Synths on “Come Together”

Few labels work harder than Ghostly International. The third month of 2014 has only just dawned, and the Michigan outpost has already cranked out three releases—two singles from Tycho and an EP by Com Truise—and now it’s gearing up to unleash a fourth. This one comes courtesy of UK-via-Australia talent Light Year, whose Come Together EP is set to drop on March 31 via Ghostly’s dance floor-oriented imprint Spectral Sound. On title track, which you can peep below, jewel-bright synth notes and a deep-throated acid bassline burble up between crunchy hi-hats.
