“Fuck It, Send It In”: Dan Marino Does Not Enjoy Repeating Himself

Finding the words to do justice to this short clip of a then still-active Dan Marino getting pissed during a promo is difficult, so I’m just going to highlight some of the better parts. Marino reads through the script once and someone offscreen wants to run it back because it went a little long, and Marino may have flubbed a line. That’s when Asshole Marino kicks in.

“Did not flub at all…there was no fuckin’ flub.”

Marino eventually relents, “No c’mon let’s do it. Fuck it,” and he re-reads the spot. Satisfied with the second go-round, Marino is done and tells the guy off-screen “Fuck it, send it in,” and says he doesn’t “want to see shit” when asked if he wants to watch a playback. The video has been online for a couple years now, but it seems to have escaped major attention, which is a shame because it’s amazing.
