MAMI and Bbz London have joined forces for a day party taking place tomorrow at Knockdown Center in Queens. Sunday’s event will feature Texture of Tenderness, an ongoing photographic series from Brooklyn-based artist and curator Yunique A. Saafir.

In addition to the art exhibition, the party will also feature sets from D0UZE, Debit, Pussy Palace, FXWRK and Tygapaw.

Organizers Ali Rosa-Salas and Dyani Douze are committed to organizing interdisciplinary curatorial projects and gatherings as MAMI. BBz London is a club night and monthly exhibition focused on queer women of color in film, music, theatre, dance, and visual art.
