Pill is definitively post-punk, from the sexy, come-hither vocal that recalls Kim Gordon on Goo, to the wildly spazzy sax that brings to mind James Chance. The band’s five track EP recalls Sonic Youth and a lot of the wilder, noisy, experimentalisms of the 90s, culiminating in a wild and wildy creative new effort.
