As the go-to for all things “Bro” on Noisey (I earned this title by getting followed by @BroBible and two of its editors), it’s my job to curate all things chill on this site, whether they’re chill features, chill interviews, or super chill songs like this one, from After the Smoke, hailing from Tallahassee by way of Jamaica and known to his bros as Rob Coin. His self-directed clip for “Wallstreet” finds him trapped inside a TV, then roaming the very Wall Street for which this jam is presumably named. His hair defies all conventions of human logic in a good way, and beneath the chill lies an undercurrent of melancholy. The ultimate lesson to be learned here? Dating, friends, is not that tight.
Look for the track on the upcoming mixtape “Microwaves” coming December 2013
