Adele opened the 59th Grammy Awards ceremony in Los Angeles tonight with a performance of her huge 2015 hit “Hello.” Standing solo in the center of the Staples Center, her voice held up through the tracks peaks. It was all going swimmingly for the United Kingdom, actually, until James Corden showed up. “Hello” is nominated for three awards tonight: Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best Pop Solo Performance.
