Ah, EDM. Never has a unifying umbrella term caused so much controversy within the ranks that it supposedly represents. Indeed, much of the stuff that falls under EDM is electronic and its primary function is to get people to dance… and it is technically music, to anyone with a pulse anyway. So why the beef?

We hit the streets to ask die-hard fans to describe what EDM means to them, including a couple of neon girls raging in RAGE hats. We came to the conclusion that, whatever the hell you want to call the style of electronic music you’re into, you definitely give a shit about what everyone else calls it too.
