LA’s Local Natives have returned to feed our guts with another heady dose of melancholia. Kelcey Ayer squeals into his microphone with heart-tugging accuracy on this, the track opener from the band’s recent record Hummingbird.
The video plots the story of a world without dogs. The last dog on earth is there panting for life while the world watches man’s best friend filter into extinction. It’s a scary thought. Imagine a world with no dog poop? Thankfully there’s a happy ending that we won’t spoil, just press play.
