Yuck Plays “Get Away” On The Jools Holland Show

It was so great to see Yuck play some seriously finely tuned 90s indie-rock on Later with Jools Holland last night. The band played “Get Away,” the opening track from their recent self-titled debut.

Represented in the US by Fat Possum, Yuck’s sound is a pastiche 90s British and American indie influences. Sometimes it feels like they lift riffs directly from the Cure and Sonic Youth, but there’s something so unique about the project.
