When Ryan Servaites felt the energy of the massive crowd at the 2018 March for Our Lives, he recognized that as the meaning of power and activism.
"We cannot make change in silence. We need each other, and we need to make noise as a group," says NextGen America activist Temitope Amoye.

Jazmin Villagomez, 22, works with Mi Familia Vota to inform, engage, and build political power in the Latinx community.
Nate Vosburg focuses on underrepresented communities that have a unique set of challenges, like a shortage of polling locations, poor Wi-Fi service, and lack of physical addresses.
"We have a five-year plan and are trying to start on the city level," says Portland native Catie Macauley.
"When you don't vote, you allow people who are being voted on to do whatever they want to do," Jauan Durbin insists.
The high school senior is lobbying Congress for voting rights with Zoom calls from a spare room in her parent's house.
