AntiMap Log [iPhone, iPod touch and iPad, Android]
Record your data while doing an outdoor activity and turn it into a pretty visualization with this neat little app. This is a follow-up to the AntiMap Video snowboarding analysis app—which synced footage with realtime analysis—and like its previous incarnation, it lets you capture data while you’re out and about snowboarding, biking, running, or whatever, then turns that information into a visualization. Record the data on your mobile then AntiMap Simple (a HTML5/ProcessingJS demo) visualizes your activity after you synch the data with your computer. Or you can use your own visualization tool, if you wish.

This Day in Bob Dylan [iPhone, iPod touch and iPad]
If you’re not a fan of Bob Dylan, then maybe you should take a long, hard look at your life and ask yourself: why not? And then if you’re still not convinced, maybe download this app and see if that can sway you. If you are a follower, then this app will light up your life like a flesh-colored Christ that glows in the dark—with things like a daily Dylan diary covering 366(?) days of the year, trivia, quizzes, behind the scenes stuff, and song notes for the mega fans to enjoy and bore their not-such-obsessed friends with.

Discovr Movies [iPhone, iPod touch and iPad]
Using a flow chart, this app will let you discover new movies depending on how similar they are, it’s an an interactive map of the incredible world of film. So you can lose hours navigating hundreds of thousands of movies—discovering those early Adam Sandler flicks you hadn’t even heard of (probably for good reason). If Italian neorealist films‎ are your thing, I suggest starting with Bicycle Thieves and who knows where you’ll end up.
