We’ve posted previously about the iPhone Dot lens add-on which lets you take panoramic pictures using your trusty iPhone. Now, turning your iPhone into the multitasking omni-camera that it’s always wanted to be has come another click closer, courtesy of those photo-geeks bearing gifts over at Photojojo. Their latest iPhone camera peripheral is an SLR mount, and at $249.00, it’s not cheap, but then DSLR cameras never have been. And now you can always have a DSLR in your pocket by attaching either Canon EOS or Nikon SLR lenses onto your phone. It comes with an aluminum case, featuring two tripod mounts for vertical and horizontal shots, a UV filter, and an SLR lens adapter.
Strapping the mount to your iPhone may make it—and you—look ridiculous, but it means you can attach telephoto, wide angle, and macro lenses to the 5 megapixel camera and transform it into a mobile camera that will trounce all over those retro-apps.
