As we batten down the hatches and try to find that one pair of boots that doesn’t have any holey soles, Hurricane Joaquin approaches the United States and retains its anxiety-inducing Category 4 rating. The Weather Channel says Joaquin could swamp the east coast from Charlston to Boston—and of course, New York is smack-dab in its crosshairs.
As comedy outfit Flama points out in their above Instagram post (via @fuckjerry), we can only watch in horror (and begin the ritual hurricane season hoarding of the milk and raw meat) as Joaquin progresses from winning Johnny Cash lookalike to full-blown fake-rap-career-attempting artisté he became for I’m Still Here. With any luck, the hurricane won’t go much farther than an Inherent Vice level of lunacy, although to be honest, we’re hoping for something more in the realm of Her.
