Saved By The Bell: The 16-Bit Video Game

Remember Saved by the Bell? The 1990s high school teen drama that featured Screech, Zack, Mr. Belding, Lisa, Kelly, A.C. Slater and loads of other cheesy teens? Don’t pretend you didn’t watch it, because you did. It was one of those 90s after school shows that you were somehow engrossed in, even though, in hind sight, they were kinda lame. It was like the uncool cousin of Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, but somehow better, because it was worse.

Anyway, if you remember the name, then you’ll enjoy this choose-your-own-adventure style 16-bit interactive YouTube game by the Fine Bros, with graphics and sounds by pixel artist and chiptune musician Doctor Octoroc. What’s more, the 90s are so now, you’ll be bang on trend playing this in the office. It’s actually three different games, based around classic plot lines from the series, including the breaking of Screech’s mum’s Elvis statue. Obviously it’ll be an emotional experience for you to journey back to Bayside after all these years, but hold back the tears and be strong. If only for the Elvis statue’s sake. And away! Off down memory lane you go.
