Light painting’s a pretty ubiquitous practice, explored by everyone from Man Ray to BERG, so to stand out you really need to do something a little different. Maybe combining light painting with Matrix-style bullet time? That’ll work.
This is what photographer Richard Kendall’s done, using a 96 camera rig and a combination of manual and pulsing strobe flashes and long exposures to give you the interesting footage in the video above—and this is just a test shoot.

It means you can spin 360 degrees around the painted light trails left by moving objects and people, making for some impressive frozen moments—get your wow face on.
