Meek Mill: “Intro”

Here’s more maniacal rapping from Maybach’s darling, Meek Mill (oh, hey alliteration!), but this time it’s for the intro to his first studio album, Dreams & Nightmares, out at the end of this month. To give you an insight into the track’s dramatical key change Meek explains; “I start off real calm, and just talkin’ to ‘em over a beat, and then when I get to the nightmare part, I just start screaming, going bananas.”

Lulz. What he’s saying, is there’s lots of talk about “If you ain’t about that murda game, then pussy niggas shut up” with a bit of synth and piano, but this is basically the most uncompromising hood shit that you can handle in three minutes.
