Straight to the point: we freaking love MikeQ. We’ve been following his story with fervour for some time now: his collaborative efforts with Fade To Mind’s new Mind to Mind project – which turned out pretty great – with the Nights Slugs crew in their fascinating quest to find and release seminal ballroom track ‘Icy Lake’, and THUMP US hit the NYC shortly after, for a recent short film about Vogue Knights, too. What’s never failed to impress us about MikeQ, besides all that production work, is the fact that he’s also a really sick DJ. In this latest MIXED BY, MikeQ smacks out his signature style of ballroom and house, with heady edits of rap and R&B, with enviable confidence.
