Patriots Score Quick On 49-Yard Touchdown

It took the Patriots one minute and twenty-nine seconds to score on the Jets and it was on a complete defensive lapse in the New York secondary. Safety Antonio Allen decided to run toward Tom Brady as he rolled out along the line of scrimmage, leaving running back Shane Vereen wide the fuck open downfield. Brady actually overthrew Vereen but it didn’t matter, that’s how wide open he was. He dove for the ball, landed short of the end zone and was able to let his momentum carry him in before anyone could touch him.

The Jets actually had a pretty solid drive in response, but a touchdown was called back on a penalty and they had to settle for a field goal. Rivarly renewed.
