Lou E Pops Shots At All The Gap Yah Students In His Debut Single “What Do You Do It For”

Lou E is an eighteen year old South Londoner called Louis Milburn. Despite “What Do You Do It For” being his debut release, he’s already popping shots – namely at the rise of faux spirituality and all those gap yah students who arrive home from six months in Goa with nothing more than a set of cliched appropiations, some harem pants, and a little piece of patterned cloth to hang over their bed. By using the moniker Lou E, rather than his real name, Milburn says it’s a chance “to discuss issues, problems and worries that I’m far too British to talk about with everybody and nobody at the same time,” Although it’s his first track, the South Londoner has a wealth of material under his belt, with three albums already locked down and in the vault. Take a listen to “What Do You Do It For” below and keep your eyes peeled for more later down the line.

Pre-order “What Do You Do It For” here. Catch him live on 24th February at The Lock Tavern, Camden.
