Amsterdam producer Rob Hes will return to Dubfire‘s SCI+TEC imprint with a new EP called Tricks Of The Trade tomorrow, and ahead of that we’re delighted to debut the rabid record cut “Who’s The Wolf” on THUMP. Tracing a line between UK garage shuffle and and gleeful techno malevolence, the main source of tension is a queasily undulating synth pattern that churns, builds, and enlivens the track by passing through a number of subtle shifts in phrasing and register.
