Many people watched Taylor Swift’s “Look What You Made Me Do” video on YouTube yesterday. Many people. Around 28 million people. Enough for Swift to take over Adele’s record for most YouTube views reached in a 24-hour period on a music video.
In 2015, Adele’s music video for “Hello” reached 27.7 million views on the day of it being released.

Swift’s new record follows the lyric video for “Look What You Made Me Do” breaking the record for most watched lyric video within 24-hours. Following its release on Friday the video amassed more than 19 million views on YouTube.
“Look What You Made Me Do” is taken from her upcoming album Reputation, due for release on November 10.
