Kevin Spacey now facing a new batch of harassment complaints

An investigation conducted by London’s famed Old Vic theater yielded 20 new complaints against actor Kevin Spacey, who has been accused of serial sexual harassment and misconduct dating back decades.

The theater, where Spacey was artistic director from 2004 to 2015, issued an apology on Thursday for “not creating an environment or culture where people felt able to speak freely” after the new allegations came to light.

“During his tenure, The Old Vic was in a unique position of having a Hollywood star at the helm around whom existed a cult of personality,” the theater said in a statement. “The investigation found that his stardom and status at The Old Vic may have prevented people, and in particular junior staff or young actors, from feeling that they could speak up or raise a hand for help.”

The theater says that no formal complaints were brought during Spacey’s tenure and that only one informal complaint was brought up with management at the time. That accuser asked that no formal action be taken, according to the Old Vic’s press release.

Accusations of sexual harassment and misconduct are piling up against Spacey, who was dropped from his long running Netflix series “House of Cards” and reportedly checked himself into the same rehab facility as Harvey Weinstein. The allegations include:

  • Anthony Rapp, the star of the new Star Trek series, who says that while he was 14 and performing on Broadway, Spacey threw him onto a bed and lay on top of him. “He was trying to get with me sexually,” Rapp told Buzzfeed.
  • Tony Montana, a filmmaker best known for the cult film Overnight, who told Radar Online that Spacey groped him at a bar in Los Angeles in 2003.
  • Daniel Beal, a British bartender, who says Spacey flashed him and then offered him cash to keep quiet.

  • Roberto Cavazos, a mexican actor, who publicly accused Spacey of trying to touch him sexually at the bar of the Old Vic in a Facebook post.

  • Harry Dreyfuss, actor and the son of Oscar-winner actor Richard Dreyfuss, who wrote in a post for Buzzfeed News that during a rehearsal for a play that Spacey was directing at the Old Vic, Spacey touched his thigh and groped him.

  • Former Boston news anchor Heather Unruh who said in a press conference that Spacey sexually assaulted her “starstruck” then-18-year-old son after plying him with drinks.

  • Kris Nixon, a former bartender in London, who told the BBC that Spacey grabbed his crotch and told Nixon that he could “fuck [Nixon] better than her,” referring to Nixon’s girlfriend.
  • A man with “authority in the industry” who spoke under condition of anonymity and told the BBC that he woke up to Spacey lying on top of him when he was a teenager.
  • An unnamed man, who said in an interview with Vulture that he had a sexual relationship with Spacey when he was 14 and that Spacey tried to rape him.
  • Eight House of Cards employees who told CNN that they either were victims of or witnesses to Spacey’s sexual harassment and assaults.
  • An unnamed man in London whose was allegedly assaulted by Spacey in 2008, an incident reportedly under investigation by the London Metropolitan Police’s child abuse and sexual offences division.
