Super Nature is a design company from Shanghai who specialise in interactive installations and this is their piece New Angles, which is an interactive light installation that photographs people’s movements and translates them into light via an LED matrix. It reminds us of United Visual Artists’s Triptych—three brooding light sculptures that react to movement—that toured with our global events this summer. Here’s what the company said about New Angles and check out the video below for more:
Seeing things from different angles, changing the perception of what we are seeing—New Angles is an interactive installation reflecting the juxtaposition of subversive thinking and visual perception. It creates dialogues between imagination and reality, present and future.
