There’s something continually driving about the music that Au Palais makes. Their new track, “Glory”, teeters on the edge, almost at a constant crescendo, but never quite crashes into unadulterated ecstasy. The result is a composition that unceasingly peaks, with an undercurrent of discontent. It’s the sound of swaying at a party, half drunk, but still sober enough to feel the dark undertones of reality.
