ItsNate: “Windy”

Without getting into an argument about semantics, the term “wavy” – as in “HI! I just drank a redbull and vodka and now I’m rushing from caffeine!!!!!!!” or “Shit, I huffed a packed blunt” – is on its last legs. Since being expropriated by Hypebeast school kids, the term has near enough keeled over, suffocated in a pool of pre-club night age vomit.

Thankfully – in Nate’s words anyway – “Windy” has rolled around to advance and top “wavys” dead out state of inebriation. Without forgetting the music, it’s also the name of ItsNate’s new single, taken from his intercontinental sandwich of a mixtape Never Average Talking Excellent. Without getting too wordy, the video sees Nate on a throwback tip, featuring a slew of VHS tinged visuals backed up by woozily disrespectful basslines.
