NORTHMIX: J.u.D.

Fresh off the wings of his slot at Montreal’s distinguished Igloofest, Judrick Saint-Fleur is quickly turning J.u.D. into a Canadian household acronym.

As a composer, graphic designer, and DJ, J.u.D. is one part of the super collective the ALAIZ Crew. The team is composed of beat leaders Kaytranada, High Klassified, The Celestics, and Da-P, all of which have had brag-worthy 2014’s.

J.u.D. distinguishes himself with an unwound trap sound – lightly balancing hip-hop within a dance music core. His latest EP St. Flower is a prime example.

Widely known for his remix of Rihanna’s “You Da One” and two EP’s Molly Cyrus and Dreams – it’s about time J.u.D. decorates the Northmix collection with his liberal trap elegance. Any mix with Azealia Banks in it is good by default. It’s a rule, somewhere.
