It’s been a good month for menswear designer/ outdoor wear god Christopher Raeburn. Fresh off designing a jacket with cycling brand Rapha, he’s just revealed a new collab with Swiss brand Victorinox on a limited-edition outerwear collection called Protect. Tailor made for festivals, the collection has been designed with the survival spirit of Victoriknox’s famous Swiss army knives in mind, giving you everything you need to this summer. The 11-piece range includes ponchos, tents, bags, the inevitable Swiss Army Knife—as well an app that features festival sites in 3D augmented reality with added GPS to help you find your tent if you lose it!
SNEAKERS OF THE WEEK
Few things have the fashion Marmite factor quite like the Jeremy Scott x Adidas Originals sneakers. Since their launch they’ve been embraced by everyone from 2 Chainz to Jedward to even, er, Blue Ivy. Jeremy definitely has a fondness for utilising the aesthetics straight from the Tumblr dashboard within his designs, and with this forthcoming collection it looks like he’s going full on meta with it, with pixellation detailing to go—the new JS Wings 2.0 ‘Pixels’ design has just been revealed as part of his next Adidas collab which is set to drop “sometime later this year”.

There’s nothing more annoying than not being able to sleep, whether it’s due to jet lag, insomnia, weird working hours or other forms of stimulation. Luckily, Australian researchers have developed a Re-Timer eyewear device, which shines a soft green light onto the eyes for 50 minutes a day to help reset the wearer’s body clock back to normal. Tests are still being run into the Re-Timer’s effectiveness, but hey, looks more fun than downing another half-pack of sleeping tablets, right?
