Whilst half of Baltimore was lining up to be extras in The Wire, the members of hardcore thrash crossover’s Dope Body were busy growing up over on the white trash, salty-earthed side of the city.

They were so bored and disillusioned by the dilapidated, narco-‘burbia of their stomping ground they decided to make a band, pretty much like every other teen in the world. The difference being that they decided to make really angry music that semi-kills the frontman, Andrew Laumann, every time they play live. They’ve been kinda doing that none stop now for four years.

Which is great news if you live in any of the places below, because they’re on their Decline of Western Civilisation VII tour, to support their album Natural History, released earlier this year. Including a slot at Supersonic Fest in Birmingham – always a lot of fun – and finale at Birthdays in Dalston.
