Oh Jamie, you saucy bugger. “Why_Ya_Why” is all sass and bounce, wobbling bass and really filthy trumpet with a thwumping breakdown at the end. Like, there’s some serious slap and tickle in here, verging on Fifty Shades of Grey turf, except it’s for grown ups not repressed mummies in the home counties. The guy’s experienced, yeah?

This track is the second tease to be set free from his imminent, self-titled new record on Warp. Judging by this and first cut “What A Shame” we are going to be blasting this LP out heavily come its release next month.
