Creators Remix Roundup Week 11

Our Creators are a very talented and prolific bunch, and our inbox is always cluttered with alerts of new remixes and mashups from the incredible DJs and producers in our line-up. We just couldn’t keep these fresh new tunes to ourselves because, after all, filesharing is caring. Here are our top picks from the past week.

Sleigh Bells: “Tell ’Em” (Diplo remix)

We’re going to let Diplo guest write this one since he explained it so well over on Mad Decent: Derek from sleigh bellz and me have matching florida tattoos and we both are from shitty parts of broward county // & their last album was one of the sickest of ’10 .. its soo sick, its gave me a stomach ache .. half lyrnyrd skinnard half bangladesh half man half alligator.. . me and derek and alexis are bros and sis for life… i really wanted to get it out to u guys cause i think the bass and the drums sounds nice and u can play it at your next party. Done! P.S. We heard there may be a Diplo, Beyoncé, and Sleigh Bells collaboration in the works. Stay tuned.

Tinchy Stryder: “Second Chance” (Cody Simpson remix)
Amanda Palmer: “Map of Tasmania” ( The Young Punx club mix ft. Peaches)

USK: “Kill Me Sweetly” (Sulumi remix)

What happens when another chiptunes artist remixes a chiptune? Frantic mania fit for electronic dance parties at Bowser’s Castle ensues. After listening, we’re impressed with how both artists can make 8-bit melodies sound so variable. We wonder if “Kill Me Sweetly” is a follow-up to USK’s “Shall We Date.” Tough chips.

Marcelo Jeneci: “Doce Solidão” (ft. Marcelo Camelo)
