Fallen Empire Records in association with Psychic Violence Records and Terratur Possessions has just announced the final confirmed lineup for the inagural edition of their two-day Dissociative Visions festival, to be held July 24-25 at Brooklyn, NY’s Saint Vitus Bar. The lineup is, frankly, an incredible representation of black metal’s best current bands, and promises to be very, very grim.

Headliners One Tail One Head will once again darken our shores (you might recall their barbaric appearance at last year’s Martyrdoom Festival), while Iceland’s Sinmara will give their debut North American performance. The rest of the lineup is stacked with international excellence, too; Ireland’s Slidhr and Mexico’s Lluvia will join the Canadians in Sortilegia and Eos. The rest of the bill is focused on local talent and on the concept of collaboration. NYC’s own Vorde and Vilkacis will be holding it down alongside Vanum, a new project involving Ash Borer and Predatory Light’s K. Morgan and the superhuman M. Rekevics of Fell Voices, Vorde, and Vilkacis. From slightly further afield comes Philadelphia’s Haethen, the aforementioned Predatory Light (which also includes members of Anhedonist and Leech), and the close-lipped Aureole.

On top of that, there will be a pre-fest gig at The Acheron the night before with Volahn, Hand of Glory, T.O.M.B. and Wulfkrieg. More info—including ticket links—is available here.
