Will travels to Kingston, Jamaica, to learn about the most notorious pirate of all, Blackbeard. He finds Blackbeard’s legacy alive and well, and his drink of choice, rum, which is still an important currency on the island. Visiting a distillery, he takes a taste of the 78 percent proof booze that sustained the pirates, and learns why it was so vital during Blackbeard’s reign. Later, he spends some time on the other side of town with Jamaica’s current bootleggers, carrying on Blackbeard’s piracy tradition even today.
