Ramen has long been a staple of the money-hungry (or just plain hungry) college student diet. As the final weeks of summer approach, photographer Stephen McMennamy uses his signature #combophotos to remind the debt-laden learning class that the fun’s over, and it’s time to get back to awkwardly avoiding people you “totally met once, I think,” in the halls.
“The commercials on my television tell me that folks are headed back to school,” he remarks on Instagram. “If you’re college bound and trying to stretch that dollar, this ones for you [sic].” If you’re still hanging on to summer dreams for dear life, McMennamy has plenty for you, too.
