We met former CIA man Robert Baer in a shady motel room in Newport Beach, California, to discuss the differences between the life of an actual spy and the crap you see in the movies. We also talked about how to steal secrets, the president’s relationship with the CIA, and that one time Baer was investigated by the FBI for plotting to assassinate Saddam Hussein.
