After a summer of monumentally hyped movies that turned out to be duds, Stranger Things was a refreshing surprise. The show dropped on Netflix without much fanfare and became a hit organically because it’s a terrifyingly good 80s nostalgia trip—not because of any marketing campaign. And it’s coming back for a second season next year.

On Wednesday, Netflix announced plans for season two, coming sometime in 2017, and dropped a cryptic teaser trailer making use of the show’s already iconic title sequence. The minute-long teaser leaves us with more questions than answers, but at least there will be more for fans to talk about over the next few months besides of the relative merits of Barb.
According to Entertainment Weekly, almost all of the cast will return for the new season, including Finn Wolfhard, who played Mike, and Wynona Ryder—but the masterminds behind the show haven’t let on if Millie Brown will reprise her role as Eleven.
“We don’t know about Eleven,” co-creator Ross Duffer said. “We leave that up in the air.”
