Dear Vice,
On my recent travels around China I saw the police pull over a bus and quiz this nervous looking guy in the stripy sweater. I pointed my camera and clicked and didn’t really think about it. It was only later, when I looked at the photo in detail, that I noticed one of the boxes the cops had confiscated was labeled “Human Placenta.”
