Cold Pumas write hymns of pounding repetition that lock into a groove, running rings around themselves. They’re releasing a split 7″ with their friends Male Bonding later this year. So far 2009 is all about a shambolic anyone-can-pick-up-an-instrument vibe (which is something I am all for seeing as I can’t play for shit), but those two bands are shortening the slack. What more is there to say about them? They’re fucking tight. Listen down there.
